In 2025…I’m going in s/o Weezy F.

I told y’all my plans in last week’s blog so no need to rehash that but just know when I say I’m going in, I mean I’m leaving nothing on the table!

I’m using every gift, talent, and resource I have to make life comfortable for myself and to be less dependent on one institution for my livelihood.

I wrote about this not long ago in a previous blog post Discount Nothing where I discuss Rihanna’s introduction into the hair care arena despite not being known for hair. To us, the line came out of left field but that didn’t stop her. Just like it didn’t stop her from becoming a billionaire with Fenty Beauty.

My plea to you and ultimately call to action is…

  • Don’t let life happen to you! In this season, you can’t be driven by fear.

  • Take stock of your gifts and talents and get busy! We don’t have time to play small. We don’t have time to rely on one source of income. We don’t have the luxury of not using everything we have. You are your safety net.

  • Do something! Strategize, start your business, change careers, develop that app, write the book...Use your resources and partner where necessary but whatever you do, do something!

Make no mistake, this post isn’t undergirded by fear. I’m not trying to scare you into doing anything. I’m simply suggesting it would be in your best interest to not sleep on yourself in this season. Don’t get left behind. Get active.

The Uncertainties of Life

Send your grain across the seas, and in time, profits will flow back to you. 2 But divide your investments among many places, for you do not know what risks might lie ahead.

3 When clouds are heavy, the rains come down. Whether a tree falls north or south, it stays where it falls.

4 Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.

5 Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.

6 Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.

-Ecclesiastes 11:1-6

Lastly, if you have any doubts that you are capable, qualified, or have something to offer, remember who the president is and move with that level of confidence and audacity.

To success..Cheers in advance!
